The vision of Monte Do Aniche
A sustainable way of life
At Aniche we aim toward practising a sustainable way of life, living in tune with nature and sharing a community lifestyle with like-minded people who want to become part of the project long-term. Our goal is to live close to other families and create togetherness and mutual goals.
Building an organic farm
We aim to build an holistic permaculture farm, a forest school and a space for eco workshops and eco-tourism. At the moment we are still at the pioneer stage and we are looking forward for people to help building those projects.
We grow our vegetebeles and enjoy the summer and winter harvet alot.
In order to support the low ground water level and to regenerate the land we created several rain collection ponds and a lake. There is also a natural creek and beautiful natural views.
A place to grow
We intend for this place to have room for people to grow, and for developing conscious events and social projects. To make this happen we built appartements to rent and created several pitchs for your own trailer.
There is also a beautiful temple/yoga room where we prectice yoga and acro balance and welcome initiations for classes, meditation and much more. It is also possible to share a meal with others in the shared kitchen.
Who are we ?
We are one family that started the project and living here since the begining. Atm (July 2024) living with us 4 families with kids from newborn to 10 yo, spread between private house, appartements and mobile home and a campervan.
Usually we share the place also with short term volunteers that help us to take care of the animals, the land and build and maintain the project.
The project was created by Rona and July. Who live on the neighbour land with their kids, June (6) and Cheyenne (8) and their dogs, April and May and more chickens and ducks.
There are also 4 horses, Rosie, Yoshi, Pepper and her baby Eclipse. And also cats are living aroud.

Arriving at the land
2017
Rona and July lived in a van and developed the water and the photo voltage systems.
They planted fruits trees and took off eucalyptus trees.
Moving into our house
2022
Together with a team we finished to build our private house and moved to the neighboring land. Many volunteers helped us to develope the land and surrounding.
New appartements
2024
We completed the construction of 4 comfortables apartements to welcome more families who will become our neighbors.
